My poor Hillcrest Avenue
Hello all... long time no see.
I am at my cottage just outside of Fredericton, NB, which quite frankly is to far in my opinion. But I am writing you from my new laptop, which I find really exciting.
A very scary thing happened yesterday, at my house, which makes me glad that I am not at home, or that I wasn't yesterday. Last night a neighbour called my mom here and asked if she had spoken to anyone who lives on our street. It ends up that my next door neighbour was having their driveway redone and they had to get a tractor and dig into the ground, because it's an underground driveway, or whatever they are called. When the workers were digging, they hit a gas pipe and gas leaked everywhere. Our whole street had to be evacuated. The fire and police department went around knocking on all the dor frantically to tell everyone to leave their houses, incase of a huge explosion. In the end everyone was ok, no explosion, but i'm glad I didn't have to be around for that. I cannot even think of what I would have done if I got home and I had no house, i'd have to start from scratch. I guess I would get a new house! haha.
On a better note, the weather here has been very nice, and the lake is really warm, which is always a plus.
