epic baking of great epicness
The help_japan auctions have ended. I'm so pleased with how well my baked goods auctions were received- the "Not Your Housekeeper, Dear" box went for $50, and then another person contacted me to ask if I'd make a second one for the same donation amount. Already received confirmation of donations to Doctors Without Borders from both of those lovely people.
The Eccles Cakes auction ended at $30, which is wonderful. That person will definitely be getting some assorted other goodies too.
Monday will be my EPIC BAKEDAY. My Aunt is going to take care of Gram so I can bake without her eating everything as fast as it comes out of the oven. Eccles Cakes and Savory Scones and Shortbread and Squashed Fly Biscuits and etc. The kitchen is going to smell amazing.
The Glow Glitter Crack in the Universe t-shirt, on the other hand... $13. Which is less than my cost of materials. Meh. I partially blame the deluge of Who themed shirts on all the one-shirt-a-day websites. Or maybe I'm just in the minority on how cool I think it is. Or possibly my warnings on the transient nature of glitter scared people. Oh, well, it's fun to make.
