You know that bizarre gilet that River Song wears in parts of The Pandorica Opens / The Big Bang?
Gilet. The mongolian curly lamb vest/waistcoat thing. The big furry item that contrasted with all the fitted modern fabric duds. Yeah, that.
So, someone needs to write the story of how she was adventuring in the Himalayas and met and killed the Yeti and then decided it was quite soft and she should skin it and wear it, and the Doctor is horrified and strangely intrigued and really actually just jealous that she gets all the cool clothes. And also that fur is warmer than tweed.
On a related tangent, I seem to have somehow accidentally purchased a jacket very similar to the one from that very costume. It's not becoming a costume though. Not with those tight trousers. Not until I find some fantastic anti-gravity, butt-lifting, bigger-on-the-inside miracle trousers. Nobody wants to see these cheeks in spandex, trust me.
Side note- did you know the sound of the Yeti's roar n The Abominable Snowmen/The Web of Fear is created by slowing down the sound of a toilet flushing?
