It's been over a year and I've barely touched this thing - and I doubt I will again anytime soon now. Reial's saved, everything's changed and things are not what they're going to be anymore. But that's how things always are.
I've resigned from the navy proper; after all that's happened I figure a break might be good. Kondo's moved onto working in the government properly, so I guess that's what I'll be going. It'll be good to be with the Shinsengumi again after all these years. Can't say that I won't miss the crew of the Victoria II and the Amestris though, I guess. They've got a way of growing there after a while. Chi's still staying with me, as is Lucied - but at least things will be easier now since I'm no longer with the navy.
I... it's been a long journey, but still its just the beginning. It'll be a long way before Reial will be a good place to live in, but it's getting there. And who knows, maybe one day we can do something about that new world below as well, especially if there are others below.
