NYC with Mami and Anna

So today I went into the city to meet Mami.  It was so nice to see her!  I haven't seen her since May!

I got in a little earlier than her so I walked over to Bryant Park where we were supposed to meet and tried to hang out in a Starbucks to write for a while but there were no tables.  After a few minutes of waiting I gave up and walked over to Kinokuniya to hang out there and wait instead.  I looked around for a bit at the magazines and pens and stuff.  They have a cellphone section now!  The cellphones from there are soooooo nice, I'm jealous.  There were two girls hanging out in the cellphone section watching the ads that were playing.  They were talking to themselves about them and I overheard them saying that they didn't remember where the girl from the ad was from.  I only had to take a glance before I told them she was from Hana Kimi while I was walking away.  Score.  I may be a bit rusty but I definitely haven't lost my touch. =D

Then we got lunch at Cosi and she brought a map with her (in Japanese LOL) so we decided to go to SoHo and go into UniClo.  I had never been there before so that was a good experience.  So many colors!  And they had great clothes.  We each bought a few things from their heat line and then we left to meet Anna.

We waited for Anna at the subway stop near Ktown before we walked to a starbucks and got something to drink and warmed up before we walked Mami to Port Authority.  Anna and I walked back towards Ktown and stopped in Borders where I looked around for a while and ended up buying a book from the bargin bin.  Anna found it and it was hardcover for 5.99.  AWESOME.  So far it's really good too.  I mean I know I don't need another book but it's still nice to get them.  And a hardcover for 6 dollars is such a deal! hahah

Then we went to Ktown for dinner and ate some food, all of it was really good.  It was nice to talk to Anna for a while.  Then I got some Red Mango and went home.

Over all it was a really nice day and it was nice to see my friends.
