*dies*

I hate my job. That's all there is to it. The people there are great. I have a decent time there except for the actual job. Nobody wants a gorram credit card! They don't gorram care if it's from their bank! They wan ONE year no interest, not 6 months! The don't HAVE any balances to transfer! They don't want the gorram card!!!

What pisses me off most is when people hang up because you mispronounce there name. Grrr.

As you've probably guessed, tonight wasn't that great of a night. Last night I was in a not-so-good mood. I totally didn't want to be there, but I made two sales. Tonight while not really wanting to be there, my mood was far better, but did I make any sales? NO! *sigh* I don't even really care other than the fact that I was the only one who didn't make any tonight. :(

Okay, and get this. I had this really weird guy-he almost sounded gay and it cracked me up-and so I kept referring to him as "Sir," ya know in a respectable manner and he kept going, "Nooo, call me Matt." His name was Matthew Meyer. Don't ask me why I remember this, but yeah... Well I guess it's obvious why I remember, but anyways.  So he'd keep stopping me if I called him "Sir," and so I had to call him Matt. I even started to catch myself.

He asked me if I was reading a script (which for those of you who don't know, all telemarketers do) and I was like, "Uh...no!" 0:-) And so he's like, "Well you're doing a great job!" At the end he asked for my name again after I'd repeated it in my close to get him off the gorram phone, and he's like "What's your last name, how do you spell it?" It was because our last names are so similar sounding. *facepalms* The guy was freakin' insane, I swear!!! Then he's like, "You did such a wonderful job, I'm going to call back and tell them that." I was like, "Oh God, save me!" He was very nice, but a little too much so for my taste.

Sheesh. Working at a call center makes me rethink how I talk to telemarketers. I think the best thing to do though is just tell them, that person doesn't live there or they've got the wrong number. Just the easiest route for the caller and the receiver.

I'm rather obsessed with a Mal/Inara fluffyish/angstyish video that,
rougeapprentice made with the song Everything Changes, by Staind. Man, this video is great! I keep watching it over, and over, and over. And when I heard the song on the radio on the way home from my interview this morning-windows and sunroof open hair whipping through my hair-my eyes started to tear up!

It's an amazing video, and I thank
lovemycaptain for posting about it in
mal_inara because I've not seen it posted anywhere, and kudos to
rougeapprentice once again for a marvelous job on this video.

Go check it out!
