(no subject)
Amazingly enough, I am taking my own advice. I am writing a random entry in my LJ!
I started working at Dial America Tuesday. Yes. I am in the section of American that is now employed. I got a good surprise on my first day. It started out kinda not so good, but turned awesome. :) I was told our hours would be less than what I was originally told. Well... first on the interview, I was under the understanding my hours were going to be 4-10, but then during the interview I was corrected and told it would be 3-9. That was great that I got out an hour earlier. THEN on my first night I was told it would be 3-8. I was kinda excited about less hours and getting out earlier, but...that took 4 hours off a paycheck a week. Theeeen I was told that our salary was a whole dollar more than I was told in the interview!!! :-D So exciting I know. LOL
Okay, so...yeah. Training was eh. Okay. Boring really. Today though, we got on the phones for the first time. I was soooo freakin' nervous, but I did really pretty good. In fact... 0:-) I got the first sale out of the 2 other trainees and myself. :-D Aaaand I got the sale before the supervisor of the trainees, so I was told I would be getting a $5 bonus!!! I don't know if they were kidding, giving the sup. a hard time, but whatever. Yay if I do, no biggie if I don't. I still made it! So...yeah.
I'm kinda exhausted, not used to actually going somewhere and doing something like oh say...WORKING! Heh.
But anyways, as a sort of reward to myself, and plus I reeeeally wanna see it, I'm going to see Nate tomorrow!!! :-D SQUEEE! Oh...right. Just on the big screen. Not in person. :( Oh well. Close enough. Close as I'll ever get more than likely. *sniff* But yeah, Slither comes out tomorrow!!! Sadly I'll have to go alone because I have NO social life whatsoever, but oh well. I can swoon alone better anyway. ;)

*must rack brain for nail ficlet* 0:-) I shall see what I can do. I'm almost too tired to even THINK tonight though. *sob* I want to write, but I'm like...dead. :(
