*I wince as I see his poor hand, and wish for the 10 millionth time that I had been able to move faster and be stronger on that evil day, and save him from this hurt.*
*I speak softly* I remember it, my Frodo. I remember it all.
*I brighten* But.. you're right. Twas long ago and times have changed. Here we are with a ring of power right here in our home. Who would'a thought it, Mr. Frodo? It would seem that our tale is not quite ended yet.
*I dip a knife into the honey and spread some on my biscuit* Our tale will go on forever, Sam. And Narya...*I wave my knife toward Celebrimbor*...is not the same type of ring that the other was, from what I recall from Uncle Bilbo's stories. She was not made with evil intent.
*I take a bite and pronounce the biscuit worthy* You biscuit is worthy, Sam! Worthy of our esteemed guests. *I take another bite and look over at Sam with a merry twinkle in my eye*
*I find myself blushing for some reason* It is true! You have a beautiful setting and a fiery gem for a stone. I hope I have not been too forward with my observations.
You were made by an Elf, a great Elf, from what little I know.
*arches an eyebrow* Please. You will flatter her right off of my finger if you continue in this vein.
And no great Elf am I. Yes, I have some talents that were passed down to me by my forefathers. Fortunately, I was able to evade some of their other talents that they try even now to press upon me. *laughs politely*
*I laugh aloud at Narya's words* If I am so wise, why do I continue to speak to you? I should know when to leave well enough alone. *I smile again*
My intentions are completely honorable. Firstly, because Sam would kill me if I tried anything become flustered if I said much more and secondly, because I do not wish to raise the ire of a Noldo, no matter how fervently you deny your heritage, Celebrimbor. *I wink at the Elf*
*sighs* I am who I am and cannot deny it. *brightens somewhat* And really, it is not so bad. I inherited some good qualities--some fine qualities--from my ancestors.
*sets down tea cup* Rather than discuss my family history now, it is time for Tobey and I to return to his flet. I would like to sleep.
Thank you, Sam, for your tea and Frodo, thank you for inviting me in. Good night!
I love the painting of us hiking. Such nice colors and all. But that statue.
*I sigh* The two things I MOST like to see, *I say dryly and a bit sarcastically* Stinker... AND that foul, evil ring.
*I shake my head and make a disgusted noise, then turn to Celebrimborx*
Beggin' your pardon, sir. Meanin' no disrespect to you or your *cough* friend, who I'm sure is right nice and friendly and all. But that other...
*my voice trails away and I glance nervously at Frodo... *
... that other... wasn't.

*I attempt speech but find talking difficult--not to mention rude--with food in my mouth so I chew and swallow first*
Well! You do stand up for yourself, don't you! *I smile at Narya then lean toward her a little* You are very pretty.

Your family, lirimaer, certainly live up to the legends about them. How fortunate we are that you proved not to be so easily corruptible.
