Ha yeah I know tall =/= tiny head, but all that made more sense to me when I typed it haha. You are also way taller than me. I'm an average 5'6" and I, too, have a big head.

Ummmm considering all that if I were you I would JUST watch the episodes with Five. The storylines are kinda long but they're only 30-minute episodes I think so it's not as bad as it seems at first. Also, Peter Davison was only on for like 2 or 3 seasons. Plus, he's sort of dashing and fun in an almost David Tennant-like way that the first few Doctors weren't. I've heard it was like that with Four, as well, but Tom Baker was on it for SOOOOO LONG I'm sort of intimidated about watching his episodes because I may be 87 when I get done. And Two and Three's episodes seem like it's mostly just watching the Doctor tinker in a lab and be grumpy and WAITING FOR THEM TO DO STUFF.

So, yeah, in conclusion, Peter Davison is the Doctor to watch, mang. And also, the Master in those old episodes, oh, he so fabalous. XD

That's what I watch House for too. I only try to learn about the really gross or interesting-sounding diseases. The rest of the time is spent going 'OH SNAP HOUSE JUST OWND YO MOMMA'

LONGEST COMMENT EVAR DUDE.

Big heads unite, dude, srsly. I don't need to wear hats fuck u. (Net Speak, anyone?)

Okay, I guess so. When. Time allows me to. Dashing? Ooo! But Tom Baker IS SO NOT DASHING. (Sorry Four fans who may stumble upon this and blackmail me.) I saw some key ones with him and K9 and stuff, and I was like, I can't... finish this.... this story arc.... is so long.... and not engaging.... the effects are bad.... oh god....

I've read old novels starring Baker though, haha! With the Master and stuff. I like reading nurf nurf. Have you read any Nine or Ten novels? PURE LOVE.

Mmmmmmmmm Hugh Laurie you so good.

Yeah. Fuck off, hats.

I think he's dashing. And most of his companions are neat, except Tegan who's super-annoying and whiney but that's also kinda amusing because Five calls her out and threatens to take her home ALL THE TIME. Uh yeah, Tom Baker is certainly not dashing, but I've heard his episodes were more exciting. *shrug* I guess some people just like Tom Baker, eh? I find him cute in a weird "haha ur liek 30 and ur wearing rainbow scarf and has curly afro-hair" sorta way. (interweb spk ys plz kthxbai)

I haven't read any of the novels but I want to! The last month or so my attention span has totally crapped out on me and I haven't been able to sit still through anything but internets and old Who eps. I have like three books I've started and not finished and about five movies I've bought and still haven't watched all the way through. BUT I've been drawing more and stuff so maybe that's good in a way.

Hugh Laurie is snarky limpy brilliant awesomeface man.

I totally, like, read a bunch of Ten books before I saw the second season, haha! I'm definitely a more reading-inclined person. You can read the other Doctor books and then imagine the Doctor you want. I'd do that with the Ten books, imagine Nine during them, before the DVDs for the second season became available. Oh Christopher Eccleston, you will always be my Doctor... (now I want to draw him again, fuck. I blame my old Eccleston drawings for the reason why I draw such big ears now. ..Do you want to know the truth? All of the "Black Tie Club" guys are baaaaasically the Ninth Doctor, except with a widow's peak. HAHAHAHA SO MANY TRUTHS REVEALED.)

Oh yes. Have you seen Jeeves & Wooster? Young Hugh Laurie? Omg, man. And his book, The Gun Seller, is really, really great, too. His sense of humor is phenomenal. And it's a fast read! (hint hint)

WHAT A BOOKALICIOUS COMMENT, AFTER YOU SAYING HOW YOU HAVE A HARD TIME READING BOOKS RIGHT NOW. That's rude of me.

Awesome. I want to read the books. I've heard there's a whole bunch based on Eight, too, which is cool because the movie wasn't that great (the guy who played the Master in it, I was all D: ) but Paul McGann is awesome. He is also in this great independant British film called Withnail & I.

I love books and reading and stuff (I'm planning on majoring in English/Journalism), it's just that I haven't been able to focus on ANYTHING lately. I just get that way every now and then. My stepmom thinks I need adderall, but I'm like DO NOT WANT. ADHD medicines frighten me a bit. I'm hoping getting in school will help me focus on things better.

I want to read Hugh Laurie's book! I must do so! Yes! Haha. I haven't seen that though but I'll have to now.

NO GO AHEAD TOTALLY CALL ME OUT ON MY LAMENESS. I ain't scurred.

Edited to say: OMG THAT MAKES BLACK TIE FELLOWS EVEN MORE AWESOME. that is all.

Bummer, Eight!

No no no, I do too. I think it's the summer. You have all this free time, so you're like FUCK THIS SHIT I DO WHAT I WANT. I'm that way too. I was like that in May, but now that I'm in this hardcore class my reading tolerance has skyrocketed. The same will happen for you, I'm sure.

I have this friend who had a painting she had to do due the next day who took some of her friend's ADD medicine and painting for six hours, went to work, came back, and painted another eight hours straight. Then she asked her doctor (....Doctor?....) for the medicine, and they were like "dude that's substance abuse" and she was all "oh."

Not that that story has anything at all whatsoever to do with you, I just was reminded of that.

I wasn't sure if you were just one of those people who don't read. I mean, I don't really watch TV (except for Doctor Who and Arrested Development right now), so, I mean, there are plenty of people who don't read. I just didn't want to offend you if you were like that. (Reading does not equal smarts, but lots of people take it that way.) (Goddamn, I read shit like Doctor Who books. Those aren't fucking literature.) Obviously you aren't though, as seen by your choice of major!

Yeah, I think it's all that. I've been out of school for two years so I think it's just gotten worse with me. I was hoping to be in school by this fall but it looks like it's not gonna happen that way because I didn't file my papers and stuff on time. :( Oh well.

That story kinda cracks me up though. My stepmom just keeps telling me that because she says I act like her sometimes and she has to take adderall. I just would rather not be medicated. I mean, it would be cool to be able to do stuff like that but that stuff's like speed man and it's addictive. So I'd be scared to actually try it.

Yeah, I don't watch TV either. All the Doctor Who I've seen I've watched online. I either do that or wait until the DVDs come out and buy those. There's nothing wrong with not reading if it doesn't interest you or whatever, but I find it kinda messed up that it seems like there a big group of people down here who are my age who almost can't read because they've been through schools with waaay lowered standards and have been let off the hook about reading since they were supposed to learn how. But that is a whole huge discussion right there man.

Dude, our comments are SO EPIC.

Oh shit! Paperwork always gets you in the end, it's true.

I'm not a drug person, too. (Not like drug-drugs, medicine-drugs.) It's just like, I want to control my body, and know what's going on in there.

Yeah, that's what I mean by TV. I just mean moving pictures in general. I'd rather lose myself in a comic or article or blog or something. I do love films, though, mmmm films.

(Fails the epic.)

Yes it certainly does. One good thing that comes out of that though is that I may be going to North Carolina for a couple weeks since I won't be in school. :)

Films are wonderful. Back when I lived with my parents and had cable TV there would be whole weeks where I would do nothing but look for and watch the craziest shit I could find. I loved the Independent Film Channel. I used to want to write/direct movies, and was even planning on going to school for it, but then I sort of changed my mind along the way somewhere. I'd still like to write one someday though.

I've always wanted IFC! I hear such things about it! My parents do get Turner Classic Movies, which are good. I love renting stuff from the two rental places around my school. Just pulling something off the shelf and being like "OKAY." Don't read the backs, though, reading the backs gives everything away. You have to judge by cover, actors and directors alone. Yum yum.

Yeah, I've always been interested in the idea of films, but I know my mind just does not work in a moving way. My ideas are static, hurr hurr. I'm stuck with still things. But I'd like to team up with film people someday and make something great. (That...isn't a proposal... I'm just sayin'...)

But, I don't know, maybe some time in my art school career I'll try to force in a video class. There's this professor here, Doug Sadler, who is like... totally awesome. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0755531/ He's got great hair and me an' my friend's would go to the screenings of films they have here for free, and his film Swimmers was one and then his class screened all of their work too, so we got to see him speak about stuff and we were all gooey on the floor. I just want to be his friiiiiend...

To your edit: Dude, I know, my class was all "THIS IS SO EMOTIONAL AND DEEP" and I'm like, hurr hurr hurrr I just drew a sci-fi character 12 times over hurr hurr. I pass my nerdity off for intellectualism.
