Jesus Crispies, where to begin? (THE DEER, IT IS TEAL)

So, it's been what? A month? Two? Yeah, I haven't updated in a looooong fucking time. What have I done in that time? Let's seeee...

Visited my mom, came back, stressed some, broke up with Shannon (sorta what I was stressing over), etc. Luckily, he was really understanding and is still one of my best friends. And it wasn't that he did anything wrong, or I did anything wrong, or anything like that. I think I just sort of moved in with him way too quickly, on the basis of potential love, but it turned out to be just the friendship type of love...I'm sure plenty of you guys have been there. :\

Needless to say, I can't stay with him long-term anymore (well, I could, but it'd end up just being more awkward and financially stressful on both of us). Went and talked to my dad, who, in not quite so many words, basically said he doesn't have room for me and what were we going to do with the car, which I obviously can't afford. Yeah. And there's no way I'd impose on my brothers, who have enough issues of their own without having to worry about taking care of their little sister while they're at it...

So, I'm going to live with my mom in Hope Mills, North Carolina. Honestly, I probably would have chosen that over living with my dad anyway, because him and my stepmother make me a bit uncomfortable for any stretch of time beyond a few hours. Plus. no rent, getting to spend time with my sister and family that I haven't even met yet, and my mom's giving me her old car. I feel that that situation is the clear winner. Of course, I'll miss everyone in Alabama, but I really feel like this is going to be best for me right now. I'm moving this Saturday.

Also, bought a sexy lime green iPod Shuffle because they're awesome, and a kickass bike. It's a boys' mountain bike, but it's comfortable and fast dammit! I've been going up to the track at Jeff State to ride laps for the last week and then today I finally looked at the rules and realized that I've been breaking them. LOL. Nobody seems to care, though. In fact, it's mostly older people that walk the track and I think they're more amused by it than anything.

Also, considering taking up knitting thanks to victoria_wayne . SCARF HOOOO.

family, getting the hell out of dodge, teal dear
