Summary: Chinen came from a simple, average family. Ryutaro, from a more wealthy family. Both were given a year to live together due to so called "bad attitudes"...What will this bring?
A/N: One hell of a boring chapter. But try to enjoy? I've been so busy because of school productions and what not, plus marching band. Pfft. My flute needs to get cleaned haha. This is written in Ryutaro's POV now. It's SHORT. For I ran out of time to try and make it longer since i'm really busy with school.
*Hint: if the banner is Chinen's the chapter is based on Chinen's point of view, if it's a Ryutaro banner it's in Ryutaro's point of view.
Parents. I don't know what goes through their minds...I don't know why some neglect their own children - only praising those they want to praise instead of equal treatment. Hah, disgusting really. This house isn't so different from my own house. That was the problem, it felt no different from home. Same, all the same. The same pain.
This Chinen boy, he isn't so happy as well. I wonder what his story is though. He doesn't seem like the type wherein he'd be mistreated. He seems like the perfect son any parent would love to have. But I may be wrong in many ways. . .
It's been exactly a month since i've been here and next week i'd be in Sora Gakuen together with Chinen-kun, I wonder how it'll turn out. Sora Gakuen is known for it's high amount of popular students, obviously I might even turn popular at this school just like my old school. But that may change. Honestly, I never liked the popularity I had, it was hard to make friends and even fall in love, but i've grown so used to being popular that i've grown only thinking about my reputation and how I must always have a high reputation instead of being at the bottom of the food chain. Call me selfish but I must have a high reputation in Sora Gakuen it's somewhat my only escape from depression at the moment...
Attention is what I need...

It was 2 am when I heard knocking on my bedroom door it was annoying at first but when I heard a voice...
"M-Morimoto-kun?", I was half asleep but I could easily decifer who was there.
"Chinen-kun? What is it?", I asked, still sleepy.
"Can I come in f-first?", his voice was shaky and nervous like, definitely not like the boy I met when I first came here.
"Sure, I guess", I got up and sat on the edge of my bed, rubbing my sleepy eyes.
"Um, I was wondering i-if I can sleep on the other bed on the other side of this room, just for tonight? I promise- EEK!", he shouted and ran in the corner of the room - that's when I fully woke up and noticed that it was raining hard with a match of thunder and lighting...
"A-Are you okay?", I asked running over to the older boy.
"N-Not really", he said, on the verge of crying...Honestly, he looked very fragile when he was shaking and sobbing...almost like a sad angel. But I may just be thinking differently because i'm sleepy..
I helped him up, his hands felt really, as in really cold, ice cold. I'm guessing he has hypothermia, but I may be wrong, maybe it's due to fear. I walked him over to the bed and tucked him in. He was really scared, he wouldn't stop shaking even after I pulled the cover over him...I wondered, was he ever helped?
I layed back down on my own bed, thinking about this boy. I always thought that, if people had fear of thunder even until their nearing adulthood, it's due to lack of attention from their family members. That's what I say, it's my own opinion on situations like this.
"He's still shivering...", I whispered. He was sleep but he was indeed still shivering...
"Oyasuminasai Chinen-kun..."

"Oyasumi..."

The morning sunshine peaked it's way through the curtains of my room as I woke up...It was sunny, but it sure was a cold morning, which is not so normal back at home.
"Ohayo--Eh?", I looked at the other bed only to find no one there.
"Ah, Ohayo Gozaimasu Morimoto-kun.."
"Ohayo Suzuki-san...Where's Chinen-kun?"
"Chinen-kun? Oh, he went out to buy some groceries in a combini around the corner..want to join him? I'll get your coat", she smiled at me. Even if I caused her trouble in the past, she's still so kind to me...
"Here you go Morimoto-kun--"
"Suzuki-san, you do know that you can call me Ryutaro-kun, i've known you eversince I was 5...", I reassured while she was putting on my coat.
"It's fine, I don't want to cause trouble with just calling you 'Ryutaro-kun', and plus don't you think Morimoto-kun is more formal?", She giggled.
"There, go before he leaves, he's going to visit his friend soon", I nodded and headed out.

His friend? He has friends here in Tokyo? I never really knew he'd have friends here. At least he has friends. I can't really call the people I hang out with "Friends" because they only use me for money which is always the concept of students who are rich in some way. I don't find it new, I find it ignorant.
As I make my way to the combini around the corner I immediately hid behind an apartment building when I saw a group of 3 boys ganging up on another boy...I don't really like bullying. It's never the answer to a problem.
"So, Yuri-chan~ Care to give us what you bought just now?", hold up, Yuri..?...Chinen-kun?
"Still dumb asses I suppose? i'd suggest you go back to school to learn that bullying isn't considered being affectionate towards another"
"Huh! Still a smart mouth? Where's your sister? Out with another man? She's surely a sl--"
"Hey!", I unconciously shouted, I couldn't take it anymore.
"Oh! Who's your little friend Yuri-chan?"
"I'm Morimoto Ryutaro...Do you have issues with Chinen-kun? I suggest you settle it without bullying..."
"Hah! Who are you to tell us what to do?!"
"O-Oi, Ringo-san, h-he's Morimoto Ryutaro! The cousin of Shiritani Shoji!"
"How do you know that?", I asked. I really did not expect them to know my cousin, oh, that's right, my cousin went to school here when he too was transferred to Tokyo.
"Hah? A-Ah! Morimoto-san?! Ah! We're really sorry! We promise not to bother Yuri anymore, we really do! Please, don't hurt us!
We'll leave you in peace...J-Ja ne!", and they ran away.
I looked at Chinen-kun for a while before noticing the smile curling up on his face. It was a nice sight to see and pretty rare too.
"Thanks Morimoto-kun", he said.
"No problem, eventhough I didn't really do anything except say my name", he laughed.
"Still, thanks", he smiled.
"How do you know those guys anyway?"
"Well, my sister used to date one of them when she was still working here in this combini...She loved him, but she loved someone else too, you can say that she is a cheater..."
"Oh...I guess that dummy is taking everything out on you then?"
"You can say that, but not anymore, thanks to you", He smiled again...

We walked back to the house since Chinen-kun's friend wasn't home and watched some TV. Apparently, Chinen-kun's friend just becamse an actor around the December of last year, his name is Yamada Ryosuke. Chinen-kun said they've been friends eversince they were small but Yamada-kun moved to Tokyo when they were both just 5 years old. I'm surprised they'd still be in contact up to now.
"Morimoto-kun, Chinen-kun, what do you want for dinner?", Suzuki-san asked popping out from nowhere.
"Ah, Suzuki-san we ate alot of junk food, and we're sorta full, can we have some hot chocolate instead?", Chinen-kun asked.
"Hot chocolate? Sure!", she smiled.
Just from helping Chinen-kun out today, i've attained more knowledge about him. Although I still don't know anything except the fact that he has a sister. I've never been this calm in a while, and i'm not sure if it's because i'm away from my parents or because I met Chinen-kun, a person I can relate to. This place isn't so bad either, maybe, maybe..just maybe, i'm just scared of what'll happen once i'm back home. I've only noticed how nice and calming it is to be living in this house...and also I don't know why...but I want to find out more about Chinen-kun, I don't know why, but there's just something about him that's worth finding out about.
First, I need to get through the first day of school...I wonder what'll happen...
