Someone took out Bruce last week. Someone who did not have permission to hunt one of my biggest contributors and they sure as fuck didn't have a lisence! God damn it all, between Bruce being killed and the lack of a hunting lisence I've lost close to $50,000 in the past week. And who the hell am I going to get to replace Bruce? His crew is already in chaos, fighting to take the top spot and not a damn one of them are good enough to do the job that Bruce did. It's one big cluster fuck and I don't even have a demon liason anymore to straighten this shit out.
The fact that I had to hold an emergency staff meeting on Superbowl Sunday did not helped my mood, either. I may be the Mayor of this town, but I'm also a man and all this man wanted to do was kick back on the couch and watch the game on my big screen. But thanks to the asshole that killed Bruce I had to put on a god damn suit and get the ball rolling on tracking him down and showing him what happens to people that violate my rules. I don't even care that we have to pay a demon to kill this guy, it will be worth it to get my message out to any other morons that come in here and think they can go around bagging demons for the hell of it.
With the security cameras that are set up on some of the buildings and a few eye witness reports, I should know everything I need to to grab this guy in the next couple of days. Since I was already in an Armani and had everyone here, I told them to find me a good demon liason to replace that pussy that ran off during the apocalypse while they were at it, too. Then Tony, one of the city councilmen, had the nerve to bring up a proposal he'd gotten about contracting all of the city's construction projects. Only two things kept me from shoving that proposal up Tony's ass; one, because it was from Xander Harris and two, because I was already too keyed up and in business mode to enjoy my Sunday anymore. I told him to make an appointment with Mr Harris so we could discuss the details. I've already decided to give him the contract, he's a vital part of keeping Sunnydale running the way I like it to and I know he can handle some of the sensitive situations that come with working here. It's just a matter of money now.
At least the game's on a decent network this year. It's still early enough in the day that I can go and let Carrie put me in a better mood before I settle down to catch some of the pre-game show.
