Quarterly Meeting...
Thomson Delmar Learning's Quarterly Meeting was today... quite amusing actualy.
The first order of bussiness was defining what clock we'd go by for internal meetings. We've got IP phones, so everyones Phones and the Computers both have little clocks on them... but they never agree. In fact their always at least 5 minutes apart, and apparently have been diverging for quite some time, so should be expected to continue getting farther apart. The consensus is that we will meet at computer time, not phone time... which... well it was funny to those of us there... expecicaly when the fellow couldn't remember what GMT was ("Greenland Mean Time. Oh Greenwich? Ok Grenwitch Conneticut Mean Time! No?")
The people making presentations actualy were rather witty a great deal of the time, which I wouldn't expect in a bussiness meeting. I was expecting corperate BLAH... so it was a nice suprise.
Also Congratulations to Wendy and Tracy on winning parking spaces for the winter in the garage!
