I took a picture of one of the ladies I was working with. I worked with profoundly mentally handicapped women. I wasn't aware that I wasn't allowed to take a picture, because no one told me it was bad, and there was a fucking camera in the house. I knew about the privacy and confidentiality bullshit, but it said nothing about pictures, and I didn't ever see the page that the woman's guardian signed saying NO.

Someone found her picture on my Gayspace and anonymously called it in. Apparently it's grounds for instant discharge, which I think is a bit extreme. A warning, write-up, suspension would have sufficed, I think. They could have said, "Bitch, if you don't get that shit taken down, you're DONE." I would've gotten rid of it.

But whatever. I made it through the first interview at the job I'm applying for - same in-home caring for the mentally handicapped- and I've got a second interview this week. HOPEFULLY it goes well, because I really loved my job and the people I worked with.
