Of fandom and fictions

I finally own all the Death Note Manga! YAY!

This is momentous, srsly.  England is very limited in its manga selling. It took me MONTHS to find vol 8 (guess who's too lazy to actually order anything in especially) . And by chance they had one sole copy of DN: How To Read.

MUCH YAY.

Although it was dead expensive. Stupid imports.

Haven't actually gotten around to reading all of it yet. Am being constantly attack by parents with phrases like "revision!" which is annoying.

Ah well.

Half term is drawing to a close. Gah. So much work that I've totally finished doing ¬_¬

In other news, I am a terrible procrastinator. I have so many unfinished fics that I really really should finish. But I then I get new inspiration....spawning even more unfinished things. Oops. Feel free to point and laugh. Or poke me into action. Or something.

Because I feel like typing up some fic, here be an extract from a Death Note WIP.
Enjoy, review, criticize, shred into tiny tiny pieces.

Hey, boss, it's Matt. Just to let you know that I get your message in time. But I was an idiot and didn't check my voicemail til after I got shot. Chuckle. Cough. Yeah, anyway, I'm on the pavement on...ah...can't see the street name. Oh well. Don't bother tracking this, or with rescues, first aid 'nd shit, ain't gonna help. I'll be dead by the time you get here.
Anyways, get someone to beat Halo 3 for me, cause the forums say the secret ending's real sweet.
Laughing at you from heaven, this is Matt, signing off.

Click.

Yes, it is horrifyingly short. But oh well.
