I'll admit to being thankful to be able to sleep again. And that providing fresh meat to the entire populace like this is very generous. But if you want my thanks without qualification you will have to allow us to come and go as we please. If your town is as enticing as you believe we will all stay or return of our own volition.

I don't really know who he is. Should I? I guess I should have perhaps did some research on this place when I arrived.

I don't know either, but he spoke on behalf of the town and acknowledged that we were brought here from elsewhere. He is unusual.

Well a lot of oddities happen in life that sometimes it almost starts to feel normal I suppose. And this place is rather odd.
