Two quick stories about the little one (who turns two this weekend) learning to talk:
Yesterday, when we went outside, he said "cold".
"It is a little cold," I responded.
He put his hands out wide. "No, big cold!".
Last week, while the weather was still nice, we went out for a walk. He suddenly pointed to a woman out with her dogs, announcing "Big two dogses!" Sometimes you can watch your child's brain learn how language works. (Now I'm curious about adjective order in English; are there some that always come first, and others that always come last?)
