I'm at a plateau point when it comes to my weight loss progress. Caine and SCaRE were probably not helpful as my traveling to cons is a recipe for not exercising and eating restaurant food. I know all the tricks of how to eat well when dining out, I just tend to ignore them. After Chikalb I'm done till ICC, so there will be a stretch of time where I've a few months where I can maintain the workout regimen without interruption.
I met a girl while waiting for my last massage session who swears by "Zoomba"... she told me about not changing her diet but still losing about 15 lbs in 3 months. That's great, but that's about the same as what I've done with my own routine- and mine is free.
I tried to stick with my "one meal is 1/2 cup oatmeal, one meal is a salad with fat free/low cal dressing, one meal is something else"... but erratic sleeping and getting bored hasn't kept me inspired to stick with it. I'm still working out 4-6 days a week for 45 min- 1 hour, mixing the elliptical and weights. I've been able to since January add some more weight to what I had going (it got to be too light) and I can actually do a few crunches/pullups/whatever it's called on the little standing thing where you suspend youself and pull your knees up, that works your lower abdomen. I can do maybe 5 at a time, which is an improvement from not being able to hang at all months ago.
