Movie review time.
So I went to the midnight showing of Pirates 3 last night. Too many stories, too many characters, too much scene-jumping--all akin to Pirates 2, really. Effects were great, though (as usual). There was much more emotion in this one, which I quite liked.
Thank you again, Taylor, Jordan, Chris, and Kevin, for covering my ticket!
I'm really surprised that I got to school on time this morning, seeing as I did end up going to bed, but not until 5AM. No, I didn't get here on time. I got here before on time. I feel pretty accomplished, but crap at the same time. I could be getting my rest at a library table but no one else is there doing homework so I'm worried I won't wake up when the bell rings for next class, so I'm on the computer.
I might have to go to training today for my new job at the University Hospital. If I do, it'll be rough. The class runs from 2PM to 10PM tonight. That makes five hours of sleep in over 24 hours, which actually isn't bad but the difficult task will be staying awake at that training class. Oh, but my job entails teaching nurses how to use computers/software/junk at the hospital. I think they're computerizing everything and doing a hospital-wide launch come June, so they are hustling to train everyone before the end of the month.
And I'm officially moving on the night of August 23. I arrive in New York on the morning of August 24 with my family, who will spend a few nights there and leave the day after move-in day.
Being eighteen has been much different from what I envisioned in the past. In the first place, I haven't gotten used to thinking of myself as being eighteen. I find myself having to remind myself all the time. Freedom to do whatever I want is definitely not as positive a thought anymore. I'd rather be free of responsibility.
Anyway, enough of that. What's done's done, and I can be as childish and immature as I want to be.
