OTTAWA CP Police have seized a bus ticket and a map from a Barrie man suspected in the brutal stabbing of a 21-year-old woman that outlines the route from his hometown to her apartment.
Tony Roach was arrested at the scene after KLeigh Cundall was found stabbed to death Thursday afternoon.
He was later rushed to hospital after overdosing on Aspirin.
The 21-year-old remained in intensive care until late Saturday when he was due to be moved out of the unit.
Its expected he will be discharged within days and will face charges.
Cundall, a University of Ottawa student, was stabbed more than 20 times in the neck, chest and back.
Her funeral is scheduled for Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Minets Point chapel of Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home in Barrie.
