I saw part 2!
I'm busy trying to get stuff done. I am woefully behind on my Big Band art. And let's not forget that I am still trying to write the perfect CV and cover letters! Once that is done I have a bunch of jobs lined up to apply for. (So far no responses from the 16 I have applied to so far except for one negative one.)
Yesterday I went looking for interview trousers and remembered why I only wear jeans. Most fabric trousers in shops are boring, unflattering and generally crappy. I'll stick to skirts and dresses thank-you. But here's a little poll for you.

By the way, I also saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2! Yay! Gorgeous costumes, and settings, and special effects.
It started off very suddenly. Almost whiplash suddenly. I hadn't re-seen part 1 so I was a bit confused in the beginning. But the awesomeness of Shell Cottage quickly distracted me. The sets are so so gorgeous!
It general it was good, if a bit too action-packed and explosion-filled.
Lucius, Draco, Neville and Luna were all awesome! As was Snape, McGonagall and the other teachers.
But where was my Percy? They cut my Percy. (I was afraid of as much.) They also cut grown-up Teddy.
From the point they returned to Hogwarts it was just one huge WTF for me. I get it, they want to make the ending more cinema-friendly, but what the hell guys! What was all that mess? What happened with the scene in the Ravenclaw common room? And they turned Neville's awesome 'fuck you' to that sappy americanised speech? That's not my Neville! And what about the whole amazing scene with the flaming Sorting Hat? And what was that actioned packed mess of the final battle between Harry and Voldermort?
And what about all the WTF moments they added? I loved the added Lucius, but what was with that Draco/Voldermort hug. Seriously, what the hell was that ultra-creepy scene all about? (Will we now be inundated with Voldermort/Draco slash fics?) And the scene of the three Malfoys walking away from Hogwarts was interesting, but I didn't exactly get the point of it.
Anyway, what did you think?
