Low bap

So, "low bap" is Greece's answer to hip hop. It's a lot slower in tempo and the verses are often a lot more political. Greek hip hop and low bap mainly originate from Piraeus and the western suburbs of Athens which are working class with a strong socialist leaning.

Greek is not easy to translate into english. It's a very poetic language, and sentences that might sound flowery and over the top in english, sound quite normal in greek. In the following videos, the translators simplified the verses quite a bit to make them read a bit better in english. (Don't forget to click the subtitle button on the first two if its not on.)
