Feminist Solidarity Fest
Today was the day of the festival! I took the day of work to go. I went early to help set everything up and stayed till the end to help clear up, so I am unbelievably exhausted now. (I got sick bank holiday monday and am still not completely 100%)
It was great! We had a lovely warm sunny day. Only one speaker was a no-show. We had a nice turnout (nowhere near the 750 people who said they would come on facebook, but still a very nice number of people), and the speakers were all really good. All in all I'm feeling very happy about it.
