Retail therapy

I try hard to cut down on my shopping habits, but its hard. I like buying stuff! I know its very materialistic of me, and that I don't have the money or the space, but its hard to kick bad habits. In any case most of the stuff I made my mother buy me as a birthday present.

Yesterday was my mothers last full day in London so we met up and went to look at the King's Road starting from Sloane Square, seeing as its one of her favourite shopping streets. I got three items - two of which were on sale:

This gorgeous dress from Jigsaw:

This dress is a lovely flattering shape that I think suits many body types, and it comes in other colours as well. To be honest, I think it looked better on me - and the two other women who were trying it on at the same time - than the model, because we had more curves.

This lovely skirt from Jigsaw at a third of the price in the sale:

I'm not showing a photo of it on the model, because the model is so skinny it makes the skirt look like an a-line skirt where in reality its a tight mini. Its actually a smidgen too tight for me, but I have high hopes I'll lose a bit of weight. (I have to if I ever want to get into some of my trousers and shorts again!)

And this gorgeous fair isle cardigan from East at half price:

I find that cardigans are a lot more practical than jumpers when living in the city and going in and out of spaces. Jumpers are the best when you are planning on staying all day outside.

Looking at what I got, and the colours I have been going for, I finally decided on colour for my raincoat! I remembered my lovely red leather boots and I ordered it in deep red! Lets hope I like it when it gets here!
