It's cold and windy here. Very windy. I am dreading going out, but yesterday we cleaned up and arranged my friend Dimitris' new flat to have a New Year's Eve get together. The place is pretty miserable, and I don't see how is going to live there without doing some serious work to it. Plus it's in a run-down area of Athens in a road famous for it's brothels. Dimitris says that the pimps and gangsters guard the area at night because they don't want petty criminals spoiling their business, so it's actually a lot safer than you think. It was the only available flat for a party anyone had, so there was not much choice in the matter anyway.
I hope everyone has a great time tonight. And I hope we all have a great 2015!
So new year's resolutions:
1. Find a full time job that I actually don't mind doing and that pays enough to live reasonably.
2. Loose all the weight I put on through stress and depression - ie. go back to how I was in 2012.
3. Be more sociable - ie go to more meetup events and try to make more friends.
4. Work out more - ie try not to give up Aikido and try to find money/time for Tai Chi.
5. Consider dating again.
6. Do more original art - ie finish my Tall London linoprint series, start my London Streets project.
7. Take part in at least one architectural competition - and finish it this time.
Actually this list could just go on and on and on. But lets leave it here with just the big things.
