Scarf worries.
So much stuff going on, mainly with my gran, so little energy to blog about it.
But...
Tomorrow I'm going to Goldhawke Road to buy some cotton fabric to try block-printing some fandom scarves. Your input would be very much appreciated when it comes to choosing colours and designs to try carving.
I want to do a Tardis design - bigger than my tardis stamp - that I'm thinking of printing on white and light blue scarves, a Dalek design that I might do on yellow and red scarves, a Golden Snitch design to do on blue. I have a Deathly Hallows block already carved, but what colour would it look best on? I might do a Supernatural stamp and maybe some Teen Wolf ones.
Throw all your ideas my way! And what colours do you think would be best?
Also, my big worry is that when block-printing on cotton the design is only printed on one side of the fabric. Would that be a serious issue for you when buying a scarf? I am afraid of doing a bunch of scarves to find out that people won't buy them because the design is only on one side.
