This picture was taken under the Grande Arche at La Defense in Paris and looks down the promenade. At the very end you can see the Arc de Triomphe silhouetted against the sky. If it was a clear day, you would have also been able to see the Obelisque in the Place de la Concorde. The Grande Arche is the very end of the giant Axe Historique of Paris ( Read more... )

interessting setup - without the arc in the background it could be any european city and one only sees the arc when actually looking at the picture past the "obvious" things I like it!

I don't know. I don't consider myself nearly as good at digital photography as I was when using film. Also sometimes you want to keep something as a hobby rather than take it too seriously. I do take part in photographic competitions on occasion, but never win.
