Feminist Themed Songs
It's late and I'm tired. I have had a busy couple of days which means things have mounted up again.
I spent all night last night researching a blog post, because I am obsessive like that, and most of the morning before running off to work finishing it off.
Inspired by the discussion melusinahp started on Lily Allen's new song and music video, I remember older discussions over the Blurred Lines music video, Miley at the VMAs and the whole letter writing saga that resulted from the Wrecking Ball music video. I wanted to pull all the threads together and make something of them, and that is how I begun.
But as often happens with me, I got sidetracked and decided to look into feminist songs. I found a couple of lists and a tumblr blog and started upon the obsessive endeavour to compile my own list. It ate up my whole night and morning!
