A quick fly-by post because I have stuff to share but no time at the moment to sit down and write it up.

First off, sunday we had a meet-up for
nursedarry's birthday. As per usual there was far too much alcohol involved - I have no idea how many margaritas I had, but I think I can still feel them! Also there was much giggling and inappropriate subjects of conversation for public locations. And there were many hugs and sad good-byes, because Darry's moving up north were it's cheaper and more picturesque, but also further away from us in the south.
In other news I met my first bona fide celebrity on sunday. Ronan Keating of ex-boyband fame came to our store with his girlfriend and bought some huge canvases. They brought them to me - because I was behind the till at the time - and asked me if I could keep them and they'd pick them up later. I said sure, but could they please give me a name. Because honestly I hadn't recognised him! I knew they probably were someone or other, because they just exuded self-confidence in the way few people do. So he says Ronan Keating and spells it out for me, as I write it down I almost joke to him that he shares the same name with a famous singer, but something holds me back. Thank god! Because as soon as they left my coworker told me who he was! Imagine if I had made that joke? It was at the tip of my tongue!

I have been taking part in a volunteer project for the charity Architecture for Humanity where we have been building some "huts" to put up in
Clerkenwell Design Week. I shall tell you all about it when I have the time, but for now I'm letting you know that Clerkenwell Design Week starts tomorrow until Thursday, and I will be at the Remakery Hut from one-ish until four-ish tomorrow if anyone wants to come by.
The hut I will be up should be located in St John's Lane. I haven't actually seen it on site yet, I spent all day today helping put up the amazing Green Hut.
