So yeah, where was I?
Ah, yes! A while ago there was a mention of testing out my
Woodland Creatures Quartet as art prints for the wall. After some research and deliberation I discovered that it's really far too hard to find proper acid free fade-proof coloured paper. And you can't sell an art print that will fade! So I ended up getting proper acid free printing paper. I actually ended up getting a whole lot of different types of papers to slowly test them out and decide which I prefer.
So, take one. I tested two very different types of paper. Indian Khadi rag paper and British Somerset Velvet Printmaking Paper. I'm not really sure how interested you guys are in all my printmaking and crafty experiments so I try not to bore you too much. I post it all on
my other blog. Long story short: the indian paper while very attractive was a wash-out and the Somerset while very traditional was a joy to use. For more rambling details and photos
