Programmed blackouts affecting Japanese economy -NHK Latest News-

It's been reported a M6 Earthquake in Shizuoka Pref. There is no worry about Tsunami this time and hasn't been any damages.

Today's the second day since Tokyo Electrics has announced programmed blackouts and the Japanese economy is starting to be affected.

Trains are either being suspended or limited, gasoline sale is being limited to $2,000 yens per car, people can hardly lead their normal life even buying food is mostly limited to packed or canned food because of the blackouts, going to work or school is becoming very hard.

Many large companies are asking their employees to stay at their home.

Being deprived of electricity is seriously affecting people's lives as well as the economy. But Tokyo Electrics estimates that the programmed blackouts might last for a month.
