Character Name: Klan Klan
Character Series: Macross Frontier
Character Age: Her age is never mentioned, but in her adult macronized from, she was apparently attending college. Her true adult form is about fifty to sixty feet tall, but obviously for the RP, she’d be in her micronized form. However, there’s a problem that I’m not quite sure how to approach yet. In her micronized form, she’s stuck in a child’s body, despite the fact that she’s an adult.
Background: Klan Klan is a Zentradi female, a Meltrandi. The Zentradi are considered a ‘warrior race’ designed for warfare as their normal height is about fifty to sixty feet tall. Tradition dictates that they become soldiers, regardless of gender. Not much is known Klan Klan’s past except for her very close childhood friendship with Mikhail Blanc, who she and his other friends refer to as Michel. The two of them were extremely close, which was reinforced by certain things characters would mention throughout the course of the series. For example, before a mission Klan Klan teases Mikhail about the fact that he used to cry when he couldn’t see her, presumably because they were playing hide and seek. After that, there were a few incidents that indirectly concerned her, mostly on behalf of Mikhail.
The most monumental event centered around the scandal surrounding Mikhail’s sister, who was a very talented sniper in the military. She was having an affair with her superior, and right before a battle, the superior ended the relationship. During that particular mission, there was an incident of friendly fire - where she fired upon said superior. Due to the nature and timing of the incident, whether or not the entire thing was an accident was heavily under debate. She was court-martialed and in her shame and despair, killed herself. The event left a large emotional scar on Mikhail, who prided himself on the skills he inherited from his sister, and because she had been the only family he’d had left. Klan Klan witnessed the entire situation unfold in front of her, and during an episode in the series, Klan Klan actually attempts to comfort Mikhail when those old scars break open and bleed.
While attending college (and also, during the span of the series), Klan Klan was also part of the Civilian Military Provider S.M.S (Strategic Military Services). She commanded an all-female S.M.S. Pixie Squadron with the rank of Captain and is considered a top ace pilot of the power-armor Queadluun-Rea (the name of her mecha). She piloted it in her adult form, which made the aircraft large and unusable for humans. During the final episodes, she also piloted the late Mikhail Blanc’s Valkyrie, the VF-24G (the name of his mecha).
During the span of the series, Klan Klan and Mikhail are depicted with a close friendship. There are few others that Klan Klan seems to interact with, though she is occasionally pictured with other Meltrandi ( female Zentradi, her race ). She and Mikhail have always had feelings for each other ( although they seemed one-sided on Klan Klan’s part ), but certain circumstances made it difficult to pursue a relationship; Klan Klan is a child in her micronized form, and Mikhail has always been terribly afraid of a serious relationship ( he was known for being a popular play boy ), for fear that he would die during the war and leave someone behind. This phobia presumably stemmed from how both his parents and his sister left him behind during his youth -- and his fear of returning the favor to Klan Klan.
Unfortunately, details aside, the two didn’t bring themselves to confess their feelings until it was too late. Realizing that Mikhail would never discard his cowardice, Klan Klan kissed him while the city was under seige by enemy attack, and confessed her feelings. After that, she entered the macronization chamber, but was attacked by Vajra ( the enemy seizing the city ). Like a knight in shining armor, Mikhail came to her rescue, but at the cost of his own life. It was only in his final moments that he managed to utter that he loved her too.

Personality: Klan Klan’s personality is rather difficult to understand since certain characteristics are present only in her adult form, while others are only present in her youthful stages. For example, in Klan Klan’s adult form, she tends to be much more mature, although in her micronized form, she is also capable of the same deductive reasoning and maturity that she is in her adult form. However, in her Zentradi state, she seems much more serious than she is as a child.
In her human form, she tends to be reserved around people that she doesn’t know, and is generally, not extremely social. But she is straight forward, truthful, and completely unafraid of confrontation. She has moments where she is very extroverted - for example, she points a finger at Alto, who she doesn’t even know at this point and warns him that he’d better work hard while in the S.M.S. For the most part, she is fairly upbeat and somewhat childlike in her micronized form, but whether that is a result of her body’s age or a result of the situations she finds herself in, is unclear. She has a tendency to tease Mikhail, but is quick to anger when he returns the favor ( though her anger isn’t particularly serious here ). However, at the same time, Klan Klan tends to wear her heart on her sleeve, and her feelings for Mikhail are obvious to both the audience and characters from the series. Possessing a fiery temper, and a fearless disposition in the face of danger ( there is an instance in the series where she commands Mikhail to ‘get a grip on himself’ when he sees the body of a civilian and breaks down ) even in her child-like form, her adult form is a force to be reckoned with.
However, these traits are either more subdued or more pronounced in her Zentradi form. Klan Klan tends to be more matter of fact, though she still occasionally pokes fun at Mikhail. Another trait that is different is her temper - she’s much more calm and resolved. She has a better grasp on her emotions, though there are a few instances where her shield cracks, and her feelings get the best of her. She does not seem to be afraid of showing emotion, as there are scenes in the series where she is openly demonstrating her anger or sadness. Over all, she’s confident, though far from arrogant or humble, and very proud of her race and her abilities.
Abilities: The only magical ability Klan Klan has is the ability to undergo macronization, which basically restores her to her actual form. However, in order to return to that state, she needs access to a micronization/macronization chamber, which is obviously unavaiable in Mayfield. Besides that, Klan does boast some abilities that are not supernatural -- she's a talented soldier with several skills underneath her belt that are briefly discussed in her background section.
