"Yeah, I saw him the other day after school... I didn't get to find out anything 'cause he disappeared before we could talk... But I've come up with a few theories about this place?"

"Especially that Lucy Smith... I'm reminded of someone I met back home once... I don't think she's what she appears to be."

[Nigel nods toward Ash]

She's clearly not an ordinary little girl... but what did you have in mind?

I went and doodled this especially for this comment. >_>;; 10_year_old_kid October 17 2010, 06:55:49 UTC
Mind if I use the board here?

[Sketching up a diagram for the room to see before ending up with this:]

Basically, Sabrina had managed to use her psychic powers to create s secondary body for herself, which took the form of a little girl.

Both she and the copy of herself were able to use their powers to manipulate people, control their movements, move them into her own little "toybox" world, read minds, etc.

I believe Mayfield itself may be something similar on a larger scale, all controlled by the real Lucy.

Being able to confront her true form and force her to open up and undo her deeds was the only way we were able to defeat Sabrina... I'm afraid that could also be the case here. It won't be as easy as it was that time though...

How is that anything like the drawing-- Er, nevermind.

That actually sounds fairly plausible. How did you accomplish it with Sabrina?

Well, I had to go to Lavender Town to get a Ghost Pokémon? Because Ghosts are less vulnerable to psychic powers. I had a Haunter come back to Saffron City with me to try and overpower her.

According to her family photographer, Sabrina became the way she was because she didn't have any friends as a child... So she was defeated when Haunter managed to make her laugh and became her friend...

Of course, I doubt Lucy would have that same weakness of just wanting friends? I mean, anyone who'd go this far probably doesn't care about that...

Smirnov said something like a "paradise would be lost" if Mayfield were to lose all its citizens. But he couldn't have meant Mayfield itself, right? Everybody knows this place is quite the opposite.

Maybe he means Lucy's personal paradise? A world where everything lies at her hands?

Wow.

That...that's actually fairly logical. Color me impressed.

Thanks! I put a lot of thought into it after thinking about what happened back home that time.

[Congratulations, Ash! You've managed, at the moment, to make Pokey believe you're fairly intelligent.]

Are psychics common in your world? I mean, you keep talking about psychic types or something

Well, Psychic-type Pokémon aren't too hard to find. Humans with psychic abilities are a lot rarer though.

...Pokemon? What's that? Some kind of creature or something?

I had to take a photo of this as I couldn't use the scanner as my sister was on that computer. 8| 10_year_old_kid October 18 2010, 05:18:23 UTC
