What: SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY C:

Where: 503 Ricardo Street
Warnings: Something like this may happen but there's no guarantee. The house won't blow up though, promise!
[She's prepared everything in advance and made sure to double-check all her plans.
She has spoken to Veser for permission, and made sure to distract Nanny and Kohaku's drones personally to not have them interfere with the evening. The methods may have been questionable, but if there was no witness, can you really say that something has happened? ...Hey, the ends justify the means, and Ciel was quite bent on having this evening be perfect - or well, as much as she can ever do to try and ensure that to be the case.
She has enlisted Hisui's aid to help decorate the house, and the shopping to that effect has already been done yesterday. She also managed to have kept this all from Merem, having been able to easily hide the goods at her own house without his notice.
Against her own wishes but following her better judgment, she has also gotten Arcueid to agree to play the distraction role. Then again, with two coupons of a free shake at the Malt Factory, the ditzy True Ancestor was not had to convince, to keep Shiki busy and away from his house starting from after school hours until near suppertime.
She's made sure to come back early on Friday to have the time to do the grocery shopping with Hisui too. It probably would have been best to bake the cake beforehand, but hiding it might have been troublesome, not to mention that it won't be wholly fresh. ...Well, as long as she prepares the ingredients ahead of time, 4 hours or so should still be enough to cook a feast.
And now everything is complete. 503 Ricardo's first floor is bursting with colors, from multi-colored balloons to festive paper chains. She even replaced the tablecloth to liven things up more. Sand cookies, ladyfingers, and mini-buttered croissant rolls were made as snacks, and the 20 inch or so vanilla cake topped with chocolate icing and strawberries is now sitting in the fridge. She's modified all the recipes to make them far less sweet than an ordinary American counterpart; it's where they all used to live at before arriving here, after all. As for the dinner itself... Of course she made curry, but unlike some less considerate female acquaintances of Shiki's, she was well aware that she wasn't the only one who will eat. The menu is a cross between European and Japanese, all based off of what Mayfield itself has to offer: white rice, mixed stew with veggies and tofu, as well as shrimp tempuras were among the eastern scale, whereas homemade fries, a chicken casserole, and a Caesar salad stand on the western one. ...Most likely not on Kohaku's level, but she's still a decent cook.
Yeah she cooked a lot, maybe too much, but it's not like she didn't get used to this already, living with Luffy. This just has more variety tossed in with the mix. She would not admit this but she did save up for today too. There will be leftovers, but 503 Ricardo is free to do what they want with anything that isn't eaten. Lunch for work/school or dinner tomorrow - she just made 100% sure that there will be enough for the night, is all.
There is also a few bottle of wines. Possibly courtesy of Akiha. Along with fruit punch, of course, but either way, you can't say that this wasn't thoroughly thought-out. ...With Kohaku and Reisen's droning, she figured that this would be the least that they could do for the occasion, and the fact that this is Mayfield makes no difference.
Now if that airhead vampire accomplished her role properly like agreed, they should be back aaany minute now...]
