[ The idea came to her all of a sudden, and.. well, it just seemed like a good idea in general to invite Lion over. There was still a lot she didn't know about Lion yet, after all, not to mention a lot of potentially very useful things among those. And hey, their last conversation during Podfield being somewhat awkward was totally a legit excuse to invite him over.
She wasn't sure if Rudolf and Lion had talked yet in this place, but that's exactly why she didn't bother telling the man about it in advance. Sure, she had mentioned a guest coming over, but hadn't said who. Because if he wouldn't recognize Lion, it would be pretty fun to see his reaction. Trolling siblings (especially the one who murdered your son) sure is great!! Although not the entire reason behind it was trolling - if Lion really was Krauss' child and the successor in another world or something of the like, she figured Rudolf has to know too. If not just to discuss it.
And so when she hears the doorbell - at least Nena was out and occupied, aka the best time to have someone over is when the psycho not!daughter isn't around - she walks over to the door to open it. ]
