It didn't take Soul long to get directions - the drones were surprisingly helpful, as long as your questions were to the point. Nothing had struck him as dangerous yet, but he was still on guard. The citizens might be mindless but those responsible for this clearly weren't.
The place had a decidedly sinister atmosphere about it. On the surface it seemed as pleasant as many of the towns he and Maka had visited, but the appearance was clearly skin deep. His 'family' seemed drone-free at least, and there were people from Shibusen around.
Making use of the streetlights to find his way, Soul counted the numbers until he reached 503. He knocked three times on the door before shoving his hands back into shirt pockets.
