[For once, Edward Nigma knows exactly what it is he has to do. He's no stranger to odd encounters with the walking dead. If the Blackest Night incident back in Gotham had taught him anything, it was this. In the wake of a zombie uprising, the most important thing is FEAR. Fuck Everything And Run.
Which is why the Riddler's hurried everyone at 726 Anderson down to the basement for an important "family meeting." Honestly, he's reluctant to do this. Though Susan and Slugger already know all there is to know about his secret headquarters, he's not at all looking forward to revealing it to the other members of his family. Pinkie doesn't need another location to bother him whenever she wants. And Luke doesn't need to know a thing about who he really is. But desperate times call for desperate measures, and so... when everyone's made their way into the basement, Edward hardly wastes any time. Marching over to what appears to be a random jar of nails and screws, he gives it a twist. And lo and behold, the opposite wall suddenly slides open to reveal a spiral staircase down into the Hall of Doom. He gestures expectantly to the staircase with his question-mark cane.]
There's no time to explain. Just get inside. Now.
