Netherlands was being stubborn. Well, Canada could be stubborn, too. Things had been uneasy between them since Kumarie had shown up, mostly because of the other nation's unwillingness to share a bed with a bear. It was an issue Canada couldn't relate to at all (being Canada, you know) but the stubborn fussing and insistence it was all to make someone else more comfortable was something she was familiar with.
That didn't necessarily mean she accepted it, of course.
It was late, late enough that she was the last one wandering around the house, although already in her nightgown, hair braided into two long pigtails as always. She was in the kitchen, making sure Kumarie had water for the night. And then, deciding to be equally stubborn to her housemate, mostly because she didn't want to spend yet another night alone in their bed, she instructed the bear not to bother her and headed into the living room. Whether awake or not, a certain Dutchman was getting a bedmate on his orange sofa bed. And a fairly grumpy looking bedmate, at that.
