The voice drifts out from behind the door, and though slightly muffled by the walls, the words are spoken without any particularly unusual inflection. Slightly irritated and imperiously condescending at all times. That was Susan Sto Helit. There is the vaguely offensive sound of scraping metal - perhaps a chair being slid along the floor as well as a few footsteps.
The door doesn't seem to be opening any time soon, though.

When the door is opened, Susan will be found surrounded by piles of what appear to be history books, some rusty metal tools of some sort, and a large map on which she appears to be making marks with the help of a compass, ruler, and scissors.
"Did you know, you went and killed 46 million people the other day? I don't know why I even bother with you. And I don't reap anything as a general rule, but I'm almost tempted to ask Grandfather to carry out that ridiculous threat I made.
"What did you want?"

"46 million?" snickers the Joker in his ear. "I'm impressed, Eddie! Keep it up and you might even catch up to Yours Truly some day! Heh heh."
Edward shakes his head yet again to clear it, taking another step forward.
"I... need your help."
That only makes the Clown Prince cackle harder.
