Sparring was something that the two of them had decided to do a while ago, before Persephone had left Mayfield (and how she wished it had happened before, even if she wouldn't have remembered it -- maybe she would have stood a better chance against Hades then). Even if it had been a while coming, the goddess was glad that it did, now that the death threats from Kanna had started coming in. Yeah, that was not going to be fun.
