Isn't it strange the complications people attach to situations

Who: glowing_science and have_your_lives
Where: 1492 Kramden Road
When: BACKDATED to January 21st, just after final preparations are made for the Smith break-in.
What: Schuldig shares a little tidbit of his telepathic insight. Ema tells him where he can shove it.
Warnings: Schuldig's an asshole.

[Ema shakes out her coat before hanging it up after getting in, her movements automatic and completely dependent on sense memory; her mind isn't focused on what she's doing at all. Instead, she keeps going over and over the plan in her mind, committing it to memory until it becomes second nature. They're really going through with their plan after weeks of plotting. Ema can hardly believe it.

She's also a nervous wreck. The riskiest and most important parts of the investigation are going to fall squarely on her own shoulders. She's the one who was going to break in. She's the one who was going to do the actual investigating. She's the one limited for time. There is an awful lot that could go wrong and, to be perfectly honest, she has a lot of steeling to do for herself in the next couple of days. However, like she had told Edward in their meeting--it doesn't matter if she feels up to it or not. She has to.

They have to get out of this place before things get worse.

Still distracted, Ema wanders into the kitchen and puts on a pot of coffee, making sure there's more than enough for two without even thinking about it. Surely, Schuldig will insist on having some as soon as he smells it.]
