Lastly, she is determined to do whatever she sets her mind to. She did not have that much determination in the beginning of the D/P arc- this trait was influenced by Pearl; Pearl was able to 'pass' quite a fair bit of his willpower to Platinum through his actions and words, etc. One example of her determination was when she 'has fought for two days without rest' (although this example overshoots her canon point, she did not have character development between the canon point and that current chapter). There were other traits that Pearl had 'passed' to Platinum as well, e.g. much more confidence, many strategy skills, etc.
In a nutshell, it was the trip with Pearl and Diamond that had helped Platinum to change her character, as well as attitude. Through the journey, she has realized that even though one has read up on what one wants to achieve/ do, one has to experience it in order to learn it/ eventually succeed.
Abilities: Physically, her Pokemon (6). I guess they'd be taken away ;A; /sobs And uhh she's good at the Jackpot machine thingy; she can stop the slot machine and accurately get the exact slot that she wants. This is because there was one time where she trained her eyes so as to stop the Jackpot machine accurately to get desired slots; this thus aided her in defeating Maylene, a gym leader, by using her trained eyes to pick out the right time to attack Maylene's Pokemon (that was jumping swiftly among many rocks) during their battle. Next, would be her knowledge that might help her during her stay in mayfield... Probably. Lastly, her determination that will keep her going.
