OOC Reason For Applying: I'm relatively invested in the game at this point, and would really like to become more involved. Alongside this, I've wanted to give the Major a chance to have a position of "authority" to actually show a side of him that, when put in it, he actually can somewhat wield authority while, not entirely appropriately, well and is capable of working with another group, especially a structured one.

IC Reason: The Major loves authority and possessing it. That's just a fact. Alongside this is the fact that, despite his sometimes chaotic/random appearance in his actions? The Major craves structure. He's a career military man, and he understands the idea of working with a focused, structured group more than he does working on his own. He also wants a chance to view what'll be happening with another outsider being made chief, if it happens, without putting himself at risk, considering he could imagine shit could go very wrong for whoever gets the position.

This will also give him a chance to hide his true nature from some of the newer arrivals and those who don't know him, and allow him to have a slightly more benevolent appearance/a reason to maintain one in order to trick others rather then being all asshole all the time.

Your Attachment To This Character: Very, very strong. He's my second strongest muse in the game at the moment, and I have no intentions of getting rid of him.

Your Workload: I work a part-time job at the moment that fluctuates hours, but my usual workload is 20 hours a week. Alongside this I'll be attempting to go to grad school in the spring. I should have the time for major events and rarely have to hiatus/miss anything.

Sharing Is Caring: This would be the big trick, considering the Major, in general, wants to stay in Mayfield and force everyone else to stay with him. But the thing is, in order to keep up the facade he's going to intend to create? He'll give out the information he's given. At least, most of it. Larger things he may hoard and only reveal among a small group of people or will reveal in a vague way.

You've been selected to serve in the line of duty! We need more strong fellas like you. Taking care of our little town is tough work, but under the direction of our brave, dedicated Officer Smith, it'll be a cinch!

The Major will begin working his job immediately. Should we need you in the future for plots, you will be informed beforehand. Welcome on board!
