Notes: Feel free to reply if you want your character hanging out there! Karkat will invite all the young trolls to come over if they want since he has food and power; it's probably safe to say the same invitation would be extended to John, Rose, and Dave.
[It's cold outside, much colder than Karkat has ever been before-- Alternia is a warm planet, and he doesn't feel built for this kind of weather. Inside 1338 Benny Road isn't as bad as it is outside, however. The Doctor is able to use the TARDIS to power the heat in the house. The TARDIS is fading in and out, meaning the heat goes off for long periods of time, but it keeps the house from getting quite as bitterly cold as it is out in the streets.
Karkat ventured out early for supplies, but came back shivering badly with only a couple candles, two coats, and a few cans of food to show for it. Fortunately, he's had non-perishable food and first aid stockpiled in the house for some time, so they won't starve unless this goes on a long time, but it isn't the best to have to wait for the power to come on or eat cold soup or vegetables, and the oven's priority is for Gamzee's slime pies.
For the time being, everyone will be staying warm by huddling in coats and blankets and staying close together. Karkat will occasionally have to go down to the basement to check that his lusus stays warm and fed, but he seems to be doing all right despite the cold and the lack of fish.
Otherwise, Karkat will be upstairs with everyone else trying to keep warm wrapped up in Kanaya's scarf and ugly coats and sweaters, running down the battery on his husktop for entertainment, and insisting the Doctor not try to turn back on his appalling power suck Christmas display.]
