[Wow, all these odd little creatures running around.]

What's all this for?

[Feferi has Sympathy Seal - which she's named Snowball - perched between her horns as she approaches.] They're for-real imaginary friends! This is Snowball. [She points up.]

Oh, they're so cute! I think I've run into some of these before...

[He glances around, and sure enough he spots the Sympathy Tiger he met after the whole post-apocalyptic Mayfield thing.]

Oh, I recognize some of them now!

[snapping out of her boredom, she waves to Luke]

It's adopt-a-thought Saturday, dearie! We're going to find all these friends a good home.

You can actually adopt these...?

[He looks a little amazed. Should he? He's not sure if he's family would approve but-

Aw heck, he could always smuggle one in.]

That's what we always did back home. Imaginary friends need to be with a kid that will play with them, right?

hintcoinplz December 11 2011, 01:06:04 UTC
...Of course. They're just like pets that need homes, right?

battymadam December 11 2011, 01:09:05 UTC
Well, most of them are much smarter than pets, dearie.

[she's not so sure about Cheese. But he's not here, anyway.]

Oh, I know. I've spoken to the sad-looking tiger over there.

[He motions to him.]

He actually helped me feel better when I was feeling down.

He did? Oh, I'm not surprised. He's a great friend to have when you're feeling sad, even if he's a bit of a crybaby himself. Does that mean you two have already become friends in a way?

Friends...? Hm, well yes I suppose so! He does seem like a very good friend.

Ah, how nice!

[of course, since he didn't come here specifically to adopt, she'll let him ask if he's interested. Normally she'd want his parents around too, but well, no one's parents are their real parents, so whatever, she'll just skip that step.]

[What he should do is go home and ask his fake!family if it'd be okay but...

W-well maybe they wouldn't mind all that much. They have Pinkie Pie as a pet after all.]

Do you think I could adopt one too?

Of course! That's what Adopt-a-Thought Saturday is all about! You'd just have to choose a friend and then fill out some boring paperwork.

[wait.]

Um - but it's not that boring. It'll be over in a jiffy!

hintcoinplz December 11 2011, 01:32:33 UTC
Fill out some paperwork? That doesn't sound too terrible. I'll adopt the tiger over there then!

battymadam December 11 2011, 01:36:30 UTC
Awesome! I'll go get him.

[Foster hurries to the tiger to give him the good news, and then brings him back over. He is now shedding tears of joy.]

Oh, my, my, settle down -

[She's sitting back behind the table and picking up a pencil. Foster adjusts her glasses and peers at the first part of the paperwork.

.... Name .....

Uh. WOW SHE HAS NO idea what the Tiger's name is.]

... So the first thing you have to do is give him a name!
