It began with a random portuguese post on Juuta-kun's blog.
On sunday night I remembered that I wanted Teresa Salgueiro's recent album (man, she's coming to Mexico City later this month!! ;_;), so I looked like mad on the web and I found a really nice blog (
http://jazzmanmp3.blogspot.com/2007/07/fela-kuti.html, if you're interested),
so I left a comment, because the files hosted were really interesting, and I got an inmediate answer, which was really nice of this person ^^
So right now I've been trying to write a decent answer, in portuguese nonetheless. @__@
What I love the most is how my mind make weird tricks or it was because I only slept 4 hours today, but I dreamt in portuguese again. ^^;; That's really weird.
I must say something on my musical discovering: When they said that Teresa Salgueiro managed to do sotaque brasilero, I didn't believed it... until I listened. 0.0 WOW. I cried with her accent on listening comprehension and she managed to change her vowels!! I can understand her!! *__*
On the other side of the coin, Elis Regina's voice is wonderful indeed. ^^
Well, I accept suggestions of brazillian music so I'll expand my horizons, maybe it helps on the mayeverse, or just help to get rid of the rust.
Doujin work: On (lame) recs, I must advertise Doujin work: which is an anime about a girl who decide to get into the doujinshi industry to make it big and earn lots of money. Hilarious and illustrative nonetheless. They have lots of doujinshi topics and the way they designed the sequences using panels is just brillant.Too bad that every episode only last 15 minutes.
Personally I loved at when they stumble on a bad doujinshi, they prefer to talk about the paper quality and avoid the content XD
And Justice-kun is fantastic (and hot) XD
Rental Magica seems interesting, we have a gentle lead character who has to learn along the series without losing th gentleness, of course, he'll be chased by girls and lots of magic will happen XD
Aggy, I know what you see in Nekoyashiki: not only the seiyuu but the eyes!! XD And I got a spanish sub, yay! (^_^)V
Bishounens, mechas (depending how much you like them), pretty art, and it's a Sunrise production, don't forget the L'arc OP, if you're into them, I mean (but this choice means a lot in expectations).
Well, I have lived without watching any Gundam series, so this is a new challenge, as long as I get the technicisms.
Lots of stuff have happened since Mazinger Z, but the hairstyle remains the same XD
The worst part? I have to choose my battles, anime and drama-wise ^^;;
Note to self: If I should've seen Masei's idol DVD first, then I wouldn't be so surprised about his self video on the PureBOYS DVD XD
That if I REALLY want to see the Takumi-kun series? Yes, please.
And there are some cool things around, but I'll be waiting for the fridge tech this afternoon ;_;
How is your day? (I know, Ba-chon made your day XD)
P.S. Olá Tohuizinho!!! (Listo para la invasión el weekend?)
