Spring season seems better than winter season, so here we go with my picks.
I should make a post about Asa ga Kita. It's not that it's a "feminist" asadora but certainly for the times the story developes, is interesting about breaking female roles and how their family members and society react to it.
The finale was a bit meh even when I totally expected it. But certainly Haru shined a lot in this drama because of her co-stars. Tamaki Hiroshi was amazing and she managed to grow a lot during its run, will help her to make it big, let's see if she doesn't flop.[Short list]
* The next Asadora is Toto-neechan, where finally Takahata Mitsuki is an Asadora Heroine. She was amazing in Gochisousan, covering the range of the mousy sister in-law to a radio announcer, who certainly speaks her mind out. She was in Itsukoi as well and I hope you didn't hated her that much in her role, so here's the time to shine. The girl can sing and is one of the few Horipro artists I don't hate.
The story is interesting, as it begins in 1930 and we're gonna have some war stories and contemporary backdrop. Her dad is Nishijima Hidetoshi (Kikutaaaa!), Mukai Osamu will be her reliable/unreliable uncle, Kimura Tae has an annoying voice so far and Sakaguki Kentaro will be the first on the list of crushes. More info here. NHK hates us cos all the clips are promos, at least for my country, are unavailable.
* I was planning to not watch Matsujun's drama but I got sold on the first promo of 99.9% Keiji Senmon Bengoshi, a lawyer drama. Damn you, Matsujun. It would be interesting this rekindling the old flame thing with Eikura Nana.
* Fukuyama Masaharu is back on Getsu9 with Lovesong, kinda going all Music & Lyrics. Guess that now he's a married man, he's allowed to have romance. The things is that the romantic lead is half his age. >> But I'll still watch until it gets gross.
* Sekai Ichi Muzukashii Koi. More than supporting Ohno is that I believe in his comedic timing, Haru is really going A list, Koike Eiko is good in most of ther dramas and I have to cheer Non-chan (JWEST Kotaki Nozomu).
* Our House. I'm here for Ashida Mana, Charlotte Kate Fox (You should watch Meitantei Catherine!), and Yamamoto Koji.
* Toda Erika and Kase Ryo are together ina WOWOWSP, Kono machi no inochi ni, about the personal at an Animal Protection Centre in charge of culling dogs. Seems a teary one but I'm in.
*Yutori desuga nani ka? Okada Masaki and Matsuzaka Tori. I wanna know more of the Yutori generation. For science.
MAYBE LIST
* Hayako-sensei, Kekkon Surutte Honto desu ka? Let's see if Matsushita Nao is back on the game with this drama, singles over 30 is my thing, but I don't think the Brat will watch with me. XD;
* Speaking of 30 y.o. singles, Watashi Kekkon Dekinainjanakute, Shinain Desu, must be an option. The thing is that Fujiki Naohito's flat acting won't ruin it. Goes to the maybe list.
* Excuse me while I cackle at Fukigen no Kaitsu. Goro, really that's what you got? IDK what to think about Kiriyama Chiaki and Ichihara Hayato (so flat!) and apparently quasi naked Narimiya Hirki.
* The Brat wants to watch Doctor Car, he clearly doesn't know Gouriki Ayame yet and is kinda interested in the lack of plot, just for the crack, he says.
* Also he wants to watch Saigo no restaurant, about a restaurant attended by historical figures like Napoleon, Cleopatra, etc. who died violently and the restaurant chef make their souls rest in peace after attending their unreasonable orders. WTF. >>
* Boku no Yabai Tsuma, with Kimura Yoshino will be an suspense drama. Ito Hideaki will get to know secrets about the wife he planned to get rid off.

* Juhan Shuttai is about the Manga Editorial Staff, but I don't think Sakaguchi Kentaro and Kuroki Haru can tip the balance against Odagiri Joe, pass.
* Dias Police with Matsuda Shota, pass.
* Omukae Desu. Not another shinigami drama, sorry, Suzuki Ryohei and Fuskushi Sota. Pass
As usual, I'm passing over a lot for lack of time.
Actually, I should be catching up in all the JE shows I'm missing. And I can't wait for 24 Hr TV this summer, since NEWS has been announced as the main personalities.
Questions: who wil run the marathon? And who will be featured in the drama since they suck at acting? Probably the one with more free time will be Massu, but he was last year in the Special Drama. Koyama is rly busy and probably Tego will be too. I don't think Shige wants to die on a drama. We'll see.
