2nd Autumn 2013 Drama Review
Happy Halloween, BTW. XD
Before I get to my Annual Shrine Exhibit post (meaning I'll post it in sunday), let's recap some dramas.
Dandarin. It's awesome. Love the storytelling, Takeuchi Yuko is a badass Queen.
I wish I'd look as cute while growling at people. Seriously, amazing. <3<3<3
Henshin interviewer whatever.
It was pretty WTF, but you know already Nakamaru's dramas are quite WTF most of the time.
But this time is weird good. XD.
The transformation is already epic but still more epic the setting (intriguing) and how he made real the Nakamaru's wig hair joke. (You'd thought I'd screencap his henshin? XDD)
Sometimes I forget he's already 30 and he can get all the girls. XD
Umi no Ue no Shinryoujo.
I admit is interesting. I still think Matsuda Shota is a jerk, but the rest of the cast is likeable.
OK, I'm watching for Sota-kun <3 <3
And for Takei Emi not having any BS. She can show expressions and kick ass! XD
Kamen Rider Gaim: a fruity Rider indeed
(stolen from the Toei site cos my PC didn't want to run the files to make screencaps. XD;;)
This one looks a bit difficult to digest. While the setting in W (Fuuto City) looked well done with such amazing locations, this time this future setting looks plastic and fake. Srsly, they say planning a KR series takes at least a 2 years of developing and this is what thay came up with? Rly? Fruity Samurais? DDX
Also we come from a Rider that knew his business (Wizard) to a Rider in media res (W, Kiva) to a Rider who's learning how to be a Rider(Den-O,OOO).
I'm not so sure about this time's concept (and I'm not talking about the fruit part, I mean the futuristic West Side Story). And the motorbike is fugly.
The main Rider looks amiable enough (I don't know him from anything though).
But why I will be watching: Kubota Yuki. Hot Damn. (screencap stolen from Amamiyarin's tumblr)
And of course, the suit actors because they're always amazing. <3
Noticed in tumblrland that for the Wizard/Gaim Movie, NAGO-SAN IS BACK!!!!! Katokei Adorado!!
I have to look up in my draft files to dig up the Wizard review. Again I'm two seasons behind in Kamen Rider. XD;;
Kurokuchi: Like Training Day but with an annoying trainee.
[tiny comment]It's not that I'm gonna join the Gouriki haterade but definitely she isn't par to Nagase.
Nagase is being this hard-boiled badassas exaggerated as we're used to do it, but after the 5th repetition of "se-kai-ii" gets a bit tiring.
He still looks adorbs and must be happy for being let to grow his facial hair freely. I was thinking the clean shave for Hara-chan must've been a pain in the ass. XD
Uchi's novela.
This is a total mess.Why she wouldn't jump into a romance with a youngster when her life seems to rly suck so much? At least ewww to his husband.D:
So far in episode 1 there's no Uchi, he'll be in the flashbacks.
And Takada Sho got groped in his first scene. XD;
There are stuff I still want to watch, like Gochisousama! Anne's Asadora that is currently updated at D-A!
But I'll need to torrent it.>> Which reminds me I should finish watching Carnation. XD;
Unless something else jumps, this might probably be all the dramas I'll watch (aside the ones that have pending subs XD)
