First Spring Drama Season Review
LJ it's being unkind deactivating my icons, so you can get my previous fandoms for the userpics left. And the 403 error is striking again. Could it be a seasonal hack flu or what? Also, it's good that I don't follow LJ on twitter because I wouldn't be amused at their status reports.
* This week at japanese class we didn't have origami, but singing. You can track Sensei's age, because she put Sostsugyu Shashin by Yumi Matsutoya and Minami no Shima no Hamehameha Daiō by Ato Mizumori and the Top Gallants XD
Also we finished this -nai form and their uses, and began the next lesson, dictionary form. Supposdle Level 5 Exam goes until Lesson 20, so we're close to the requirement. I'll need to cram like mad for next december. DD:
* Work is a nightmare, and I haven't been this upset for a while, but until the dust settles, I'll report about it.

* I should spew poetry about why SPEC is awesome and review it properly, but probably I was the last person watching it, so why bother. But it's really really amazing. (stage whisper: Maye, you already talked about SPEC)
O rly? Well, it was the high peak of the last 2 weeks (last week's was Papadoru), so it you haven't watched, you totally should.
Now back to Spring Season I'll state the obvious: I liked Papadoru.

I love the mother-in-law and the kids (including Leader's kid).
I love Leader and his choreography.
I don't have enough lifetime to see the rest of the promos, but it's better than expected.
For example, when Yoko is all Akan!Akan! when for a Batsu game he has to give a real kiss. XD
I love how Nishikido can be a cool idol when it's scripted, because as always, he almost shits himself in every Hanamaru Cafe appearance.
He's been there like 3-4 times and still fails at it.
Couldn't get much of A studio because it had lots of kansai ben. I might though that after so many Janiben shows I would get a bit of it but no. And well, maybe with NEWS activities scheduled soon, it safe to talk about ex members but still ask the same "safe" questions about both groups. It's as repetitive as asking KAT-TUN about Akanishi.
I'm not posting drama caps because I couldn't watching at late night and didn't brough my backup to work (waiting for subs!) And I can't steal everyhting from tumblr or the promos. XD;;
I don't like Yuka that much, but she's the best and "cleanest" option that would be handled by the fanbase and she's nice enough to be liked by the audience (too skinny!, though she looked nice on With last january).
I love how this is totally going Team Mary with the female manager (nice Snoopy Collection!) and how she pwns all of Eito.
And yet, I didn't understand much of the raw, because I watched at 2 AM and my mom was sleeping next to me so couldn't flail enough. WHERE ARE THE SUBS?
* Mikeneko was a nice surprise.
Sometimes Fujiki Naohito gets a little lame in dramas (CONTROL, for example) but it's good to see the siblings encouraging detective Aiba.
I love Tacchon's character, even when he tries to use Aiba (to score the sister or get up on the police department ladder) to his convenience, but it's still there. HE HAS LINES. HE CAN BE COMEDIC. HE CAN ACT A LITTLE. AND HE'S GORGEOUS IN A SUIT. ♥____♥
Yes, Aiba has chemistry with Becky, maybe because they've worked together for a long time (an example on the contrary: Yuka on My Girl) He totally leaned onto her, squeezed her. For a gynophobic character , that's quite a lot. I only hope he won't be like Nagase in Unubore Deka, falling for the delinquents. >>;;
Also Aiba can has chemistry with a cat (a fierce one, if you ask me) and Matsuko Deluxe.
What? You expected something wise? Pffft.
* Ohno's drama is passable. It's interesting the theorizing and I kinda like Enomoto's chilled character. Ohno can be subtle when he wants (nice sweaters! XD).
Toda Erika looks awfully sninny. I hope they aren't giving her Aoki suits because then it will be bad publicity.
The clothes are so unflattering like Kiritani Mirei's 80's wardrobe for 13 sai no Hello work.
And for what I'm see, that feature about her gorgeous legs was fake.
Still. I believe she did in SPEC an amazing job.
* And well, nobody is pleased when it comes to KAT-TUN. Bad if they don't talk about Akanishi, Bad if they do talk about Akanishi. And still Kame tries his best. I would watch the chain DVD tour if it includes Massu's visit and Suzuki Fuku in the audience. <3 And Ogi Naoki (who is in both Shuichi and Kyokasho ni Nosetai!) going to cheer on Nakamaru and Ueda like the mama he is, was really cute!
* The last 2 weeks at Janiben:
I loved Maru's sweatshirt from that show. Also realized how scary Subaru looks when he leers at female guests. Pervy Ossan in pervy. XD;;
First Triendl Reina and now Haruka Cristine at Janiben. I totally ship them with Yoko.
I hope that this week's episode get subbed because it's amazing. The guys looked like they had lots of fun and she's amazing for a Horipro talent. She's dorky and not afraid to show it.
Now that the to Barustache wasn't that hideous (when he smile like that there's no helping), thank God the filming of the movie ended and he can shave. But we can always count on Yasu for weird looks if the Twitter reports are true.
* Because I can, another pic form Cast Size 4. It's 31 USD at yesasia. Sorry, Kane-chan. I can't buy it. Even when you had fun in your date with Ouji. XD
EDIT: because Kentaro + Beer = OTP:
* Another relevant moment of the week: Shige namedropping Nishikido on the Girlfriends column. Even when it was about how he arrived reeking of alcohol at work. Nothing that Maru wouldn't know and still find cool. XD;;
Next best moment was that fic moment when Ryo names his daughter Shigemi, but you'll get to know that at mini_ryo. Also there's a Ryoshige fic in which Ryo's height is mocked endlessly.
Will try to watch tonight Legal High, get ATARU and put on the list Mirai Nikki: Another world.
