Wedding Day
Today I was supposed to get married. Weird huh?
Life is full of milestones. I know a lot of people tell me I should get over it/ move on/ not think about things, and usually I do do all of the above. But milestones help the healing process.
It's just today is a funny milestone, which has had some intriguing news surrounding it.
On Sunday I heard some news about someone else who hurt me badly. I wasn't surprised by the news, in fact I laughed out loud and was incredibly amused. And then I made sweeping generalisations, leapt to conclusions about them and went out to see Coraline with friends. I didn't care :)
On Monday I was asked out on a date for Thursday. I said 'Sure'.
Last night I heard some news which makes me rather happy and means I will be a LOT more comfortable in Rowany and the SCA.
And to day is my un-wedding day. I'm wearing a pair of my fab New York shoes, and a relatively new matching top. I'm off to the movies with friends on Friday night and off to the Ruby Revue on Sunday night with more friends. My life is good and my debts are nearly cleared (2 months max). Sure work isn't great, but I can try to fix that or look elsewhere.
But I'm not marrying anyone today.
